JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for two teachers for Sofiedalsskolan, one teacher in Math/Science and one teacher in Science.

As a teacher for grades 7-9, you will work with teaching, have class responsibility, and be responsible for mapping, planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons in your subjects. The work is carried out according to set goals and guidelines. The job also includes mentorship and working with your colleagues to create a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus.

You challenge and support the students so that they achieve good study results and adapt your teaching according to all students' needs and conditions. The work is done in collaboration with other educators, student health, guardians, and other actors outside the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach in grades 7-9 in Math/Science or Science. You have a good knowledge of the primary school curriculum and work in accordance with applicable governing documents.

Formal Competencies:

• Teacher's degree and teaching certification with qualification to teach in grades 7-9 in Math/Science or Science
• Good knowledge of the primary school curriculum
• Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Knowledge of and experience with digital tools, such as documentation in Unikum or Office

To succeed in the role, you are:

• Collaborative and have an unpretentious attitude
• Clear and consistent in your leadership. You plan your work well, create a safe and developing learning environment, and adapt your teaching according to the students' needs
